Ethereal SNMP community string denial of service

Description:
Ethereal is vulnerable to a denial of service attack, caused by a vulnerability in the SNMP dissector when handling a malformed or missing community string. A remote attacker could send a specially-crafted packet to cause Ethereal to crash.
Consequences:
Denial of Service
Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of Ethereal (0.10.5 or later), when it becomes available from the Ethereal Web site. See References.
