Description:
Easy Chat Server is vulnerable to cross-site scripting, caused by improper filtering of user-supplied input when handling usernames. A remote attacker could embed malicious script in the username parameter in a specially-crafted URL request to the chat.ghp script, which would be executed in the victim's Web browser within the security context of the hosting site, once the URL is clicked.
