Samba mangling method buffer overflow

Description:
Samba is vulnerable to a buffer overflow in the mangling method = hash smb.conf option. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to overflow a buffer and possibly execute arbitrary code on the system.
Note: The default setting for Samba 3, mangling method = hash2, is not vulnerable.

Upgrade to the latest version of samba (2.2.10 or 3.0.5 or later), available from the Samba Web site. See References.
