Mozilla SSL certificate spoofing
| mozilla-ssl-certificate-spoofing (16796) |
Description:
Mozilla is an open-source Web browser, developed by the Mozilla project. Mozilla Firefox version 0.9.2 and Mozilla version 1.7.1 running on Microsoft Windows and Mozilla Firefox version 0.9.1 running on Linux could allow a remote attacker to spoof a trusted Web site. By creating a specially-crafted Web page containing an embedded Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificate, a remote attacker could represent a malicious Web site as that of a trusted site.
