Description:
MoinMoin could allow a remote attacker to gain elevated privileges. If Access Control Lists (ACL) are not implemented, an unauthorized user could use a specific function to read and modify sensitive information.
Platforms Affected:
- Gentoo, Linux
- MoinMoin, MoinMoin prior to 1.2.3
Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of MoinMoin (1.2.3 or later), available from the SourceForge.net Web site. See References.
For Gentoo Linux:
Upgrade to the latest version of MoinMoin (1.2.3 or later), as listed in GLSA 200408-25. See References.
For other distributions:
Contact your vendor for upgrade or patch information.
