Mozilla and Netscape SOAPParameter buffer overflow
| mozilla-netscape-soapparameter-bo (16862) |
Description:
Mozilla is vulnerable to an integer overflow in the SOAPParameter object constructor, caused by improper bounds checking of user-supplied input. A remote attacker could create a malicious Web page to overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system, once the Web page is visited. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by hosting the malicious Web page on a Web site or by sending it to a potential victim as an HTML email.
