Description:
AOL Instant Messenger (AIM) is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking of the goaway function of the 'aim:' URI handler. By sending a long message, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system, once the message is viewed.
