Mantis login_select_proj_page script cross-site scripting
| mantis-loginselectprojpage-xss (17070) |
Description:
Mantis is vulnerable to cross-site scripting, caused by improper validation of user-supplied input in the login_select_proj_page.php script. A remote attacker could embed malicious code in a specially-crafted URL request to the login_select_proj_page.php script, which would be executed in the victim's Web browser within the security context of the hosting site, once the link is clicked. An attacker could use this vulnerability to steal another user's cookie-based authentication credentials.
