Description:

Gaim is vulnerable to an integer overflow. By sending a specially-crafted Groupware message to Gaim, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and cause Gaim to crash or possibly execute arbitrary code on the system.

Upgrade to the latest version of Gaim (0.82-1 or later), available from the Gaim Download Web page. See References.
