Description:
gnubiff is vulnerable to a denial of service attack, caused by a vulnerability in the POP3 feature. A remote attacker could send a specially-crafted UIDL (Unique IDentification Listing) list to cause the program to crash.

Upgrade to the latest version of gnubiff (2.0.1 or later), available from the SourceForge.net Web site. See References.
