Description:
MailEnable is vulnerable to a denial of service attack, caused by a vulnerability when processing DNS (Domain Name Server) responses. By returning a DNS response containing over 100 MX records, a remote attacker could cause the SMTP service to crash.
Platforms Affected:
- MailEnable, MailEnable Professional Edition 1.18 and later
- MailEnable, MailEnable Standard Edition 1.71 and later
Remedy:
