vBulletin item_number SQL injection

Description:
vBulletin is vulnerable to SQL injection. A remote attacker could embed malicious SQL code in the $item_number variable in a specially-crafted POST request when verifying a user's subscription, which would allow the attacker to add, modify or delete data in the backend database.
Platforms Affected:
- Jelsoft Enterprises, vBulletin 3.0 - 3.0.3
