Apache HTTP Server IPv6 apr_util denial of service
| apache-ipv6-aprutil-dos (17382) |
Description:
Apache HTTP Server is vulnerable to a denial of service attack, caused by a vulnerability in the IPv6 URI parsing routines in the apr_util library. By sending a specially-crafted URI request, a remote attacker could cause an httpd child process to crash and possibly execute arbitrary code on the system.
Consequences:
Gain Access
