Description:
PHP could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code, caused by an array processing error in the SAPI_POST_HANDLER_FUNC function. An attacker may be able to exploit this vulnerability to cause elements in the $_FILES array to be overwritten, allowing the attacker to overwrite memory and execute arbitrary code.

Upgrade to the latest version of PHP (5.2.0 or 4.4.4 or later), from the PHP Web site. See References.

Upgrade to the latest php package (4.3.9 or later), as listed in GLSA 200410-04 . See References.
For Fedora Core 2:
Upgrade to the latest php package (4.3.10-2.4 or later), as listed in Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2004-567. See References.
For other distributions:
Contact your vendor for upgrade or patch information.
