WebIntelligence input and document cross-site scripting

Description:
WebIntelligence is vulnerable to cross-site scripting. A remote authenticated attacker could embed malicious script in the input field when submitting a personalized picture or in the document name when uploading a document, which would be executed in the victim's Web browser within the security context of the hosting site, once the picture or document is viewed. An attacker could use this vulnerability to steal the victim's cookie-based authentication credentials.

Upgrade to the latest Service Pack (SP7 or SP8 or later) and apply the appropriate patch for your system, available from the Business Objects Technical Support Web site. See References.
