Description:

FreeRADIUS is vulnerable to a denial of service attack, caused by a vulnerability in the radius.c and eap_tls files when processing the Ascend-Send-Secret attribute. A remote attacker could use this vulnerability to cause the server to crash.

Upgrade to the latest version of FreeRADIUS (1.0.1 or later), available from the FreeRADIUS Web site. See References.

Upgrade to the latest version of FreeRADIUS (1.0.1 or later), as listed in GLSA 200409-29. See References.

For Red Hat Linux:
Upgrade to the latest FreeRADIUS package, as listed below. Refer to RHSA-2004:609-06 for more information. See References.
