Description:

Mambo could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by a vulnerability in the Cache_Lite library. A remote attacker could supply a specially-crafted URL using the mosConfig_absolute_path variable, which would allow the attacker to execute arbitrary PHP code on the system with privileges of the Web server, once the link is clicked.

Remedy:

Upgrade to the latest CVS version of Mambo Open Source, available from the SourceForge/Mambo Open Source project Web site. See References.
