Description:

distcc could allow a remote attacker to bypass security features, caused by improper interpretation of IP-based access control rules on 64-bit platforms. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to gain elevated privileges.

Platforms Affected:

  • distcc, distcc prior to 2.16

Remedy:

Upgrade to the latest version of distcc (2.16 or later), available from the distcc Web site. See references.
