MaxDB IsAscii7 denial of service

Description:
MaxDB is vulnerable to a denial of service attack, caused by improper validation of user-supplied input in the IsAscii7 function. A remote attacker could send a specially-crafted HTTP request containing a value larger than 0x7F in the Server field to the webdbm component to cause webdbm to crash.

Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of MaxDB (7.5.00.18 or later), available from the MaxDB Download Web page. See References.
