Squid Web Proxy Cache SNMP asn_parse_header denial of service
| squid-snmp-asnparseheader-dos (17688) |
Description:
Squid Web Proxy Cache is vulnerable to a denial of service attack, caused by a ASN1 parsing vulnerability in the SNMP module. The asn_parse_header function in the snmplib/asn1.c file improperly validates negative length fields. By sending a specially-crafted UDP packet, a remote attacker could cause the server to crash.
