iptables-module-dos (17928) The risk level is classified as MediumMedium Risk

Description:

iptables may fail to load the firewall rules on a system startup, caused by a vulnerability with the module initialization process. A remote attacker could use this vulnerability to launch further attacks against the system.

Remedy:

Upgrade to the latest version of iptables (1.2.11 or later), available from the netfilter Web site. See References.
