Description:

Microsoft Internet Explorer could allow a remote attacker to overwrite cookies. If the victim's domain name or IP address contains the attacker's domain name or IP address and the victim is running a Web service on a wildcard domain, a remote attacker could create a cookie containing a specially-crafted Path attribute, which would overwrite the victim's cookie, once Internet Explorer accepts the malicious cookie. This could allow an attacker to perform session hijacking.
