Fcron fcronsighup bypass restrictions

Description:
Fcron could allow a local attacker to bypass access restrictions, caused by a vulnerability in the fcronsighup tool, which instructs fcron to reread the fcron tables. A local attacker could point the fcronsighup configuration file to a root owned /proc entry to bypass restrictions and modify configuration settings.

Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of Fcron (2.0.2 or 2.9.5.1 or later), available from the Fcron Web site. See References.

Upgrade to the latest version of Fcron (2.0.2, >= 2.9.5.1 or later), as listed in GLSA 200411-27. See References.
For other distributions:
