Linux kernel smb_recv_trans2 memory leak

linux-smbrecvtrans2-memory-leak (18137) The risk level is classified as MediumMedium Risk

Description:

Linux kernel could allow a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information, caused by a vulnerability in the smb_recv_trans2 function. A remote attacker, in control of a malicious SMB server, could send specially-crafted TRANS2 SMB packets to cause a kernel memory leak.
