Prevx Home disable protection settings

Description:
Prevx Home could allow a local attacker to disable the registry and buffer overflow protection settings. By writing to '\device\physicalmemory', a local attacker with administrative privileges could modify entries within the SDT ServiceTable, which would disable certain protection settings.

Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of Prevx Home (2.0 or later), available from the Prevx Web site. See References.
