Description:

Halo is vulnerable to a denial of service attack, caused by a NULL pointer dereference. A remote attacker, in control of a malicious server, could send a long reply to cause the client to crash.

Remedy:

Upgrade to the latest version of Halo (1.06 or later), available from the Halo Web page. See References.
