Description:
wmFrog creates insecure temporary files. A local attacker could use this vulnerability to create symbolic links from a temporary file to overwrite or create arbitrary files on the system with elevated privileges.
Platforms Affected:
- Colar, wmFrog 0.1.6
Remedy:
No remedy available as of November 2004.
As a workaround, use the '-tmp' command line option for specifying a temporary directory.
