OpenBSD link(2) can be used to crash the system

Description:
The FFS link(2) library function in OpenBSD is vulnerable to a denial of service attack, caused by a vulnerability when an unbounded increment is made on the nlink value. A local attacker can use this vulnerability to crash the system under some circumstances.
Platforms Affected:
- OpenBSD, OpenBSD 2.4
Remedy:
Apply the patch for this vulnerability, as listed in OpenBSD Security Advisory, February 25, 1999. See References.
