Description:

Cisco CNS Network Registrar is vulnerable to a denial of service attack. By sending a specially-crafted packet sequence, a remote attacker could cause the lock manager process to crash, which would result in a denial of service of the CCM (Central Configuration Management) server. The server agent must be restarted to regain normal functionality.

Upgrade to the latest version of Cisco CNS Network Registrar (6.1.1.4 or later), available from the Cisco Security Advisory dated December 02 1600 UTC (GMT). See References.
