Description:

Microsoft Windows is vulnerable to a denial of service attack, caused by improper bounds checking of the MachineName value by the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server. By sending a specially-crafted DHCP message, a remote attacker could cause the DHCP server to stop responding to legitimate requests.
