Description:

Hidesource is popular backdoor for intruders to gain root access and install a backdoor on systems. This particular software was designed for Solaris and SunOS systems, but could possibly have been ported to other operating systems. Hidesource is often installed with the default passwords intact. These passwords allow immediate root access to the system on which this login backdoor was placed.
