Description:
zgv is vulnerable to a denial of service attack. By creating a specially-crafted multiple-image GIF image file, a remote attacker could cause a segmentation fault, once the victim uses zgv to process the file.

Remedy:
For Debian Linux 3.0 (woody): Upgrade to the latest version of zgv (5.5-3woody1 or later), as listed in DSA-608-1. See References.
