Ethereal DICOM dissector denial of service

Description:
Ethereal is vulnerable to a denial of service attack, caused by a vulnerability in the DICOM dissector. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause Ethereal to crash and possibly execute arbitrary code on the system.

Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of Ethereal (0.10.8 or later), available from the Ethereal Download Web page. See References.
