Description:

VERITAS Backup Exec is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the Agent Browser service when handling incoming registration requests. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system.
