Samba MS-RPC request heap corruption
| samba-msrpc-heap-corruption (18519) |
Description:
Samba is vulnerable to an integer overflow when processing MS-RPC requests. A remote authenticated attacker could send a specially-crafted message requesting multiple security descriptors, which would lead to heap corruption and execution of arbitrary commands on the system with root privileges or possibly cause a denial of service.
