Description:
Ringtone Tools is a program for creating custom ringtones and graphical logos for mobile phones running on Unix-based operating systems. Ringtone Tools version 2.22 is vulnerable to a buffer overflow in the parse_emelody function of the parse_emelody.c file. By creating a specially-crafted eMelody file, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system with user privileges, once the file is opened.
