Description:
Microsoft Windows Media Player could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code in the Local Computer zone. A remote attacker could overwrite the artist, album name, and song name of an mp3 file with malicious script, which would be executed in the Local Computer zone, once the victim parses the file using Microsoft Internet Explorer.

Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of Windows Media Player (10 or later), available from the Microsoft Download Center Web page. See References.
