Description:
htget is vulnerable to a buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking in the htget.c file. By creating a malicious URL, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or possibly cause a denial of service, once the URL is clicked.

Upgrade to the latest version of htget (0.93-1.1woody1 or later), as listed in DSA-611-1. See References.
