Description:
xlreader is vulnerable to a buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking in the book_format_sql function of the format.c file. By creating a specially-crafted Excel file, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system with user privileges, once the file is processed by xlreader.
