Description:

MPlayer is vulnerable to a buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking in the get_data function, which gets called by the get_header function in the 'as_mmst_streaming.c' file. By sending a specially-crafted ASF video stream, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system with user privleges, once the video stream is viewed by the user.
