Xpdf Gfx::doImage buffer overflow
| xpdf-gfx-doimage-bo (18641) |
Description:
Xpdf is vulnerable to a buffer overflow in the Gfx::doImage function in the xpdf/Gfx.cc file. By creating a specially-crafted PDF file, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and cause the program to crash or possibly execute arbitrary code on the system, once the file is opened. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending the malicious file to a victim in an email.
