Description:
Oracle10g Database Server is vulnerable to a denial of service attack, caused by a vulnerability in the Transparent Network Substrate (TNS) Listener, which handles all remote client connection requests for Oracle services. By sending a specially-crafted service_register_NSGR request, a remote attacker could cause the Listener to crash.
Platforms Affected:
- Oracle, Database Server 10.1.0.2
