Description:
Macallan Mail Solution is vulnerable to a denial of service attack. By sending a specially-crafted HTTP GET request that begins with a question mark (?) character, a remote attacker could cause the Web and POP3 services to crash.
Platforms Affected:
- Macallan, Macallan Mail Solution 4.0.6.8 (Build 786)
Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of Macallan Mail Solution (4.1.1.0 or later), available from the Macallan Mail Solution Web site. See References.
