Description:

ReviewPost PHP Pro is vulnerable to cross-site scripting. A remote attacker could embed malicious script in a URL request to the showcat.php script using the 'si' parameter, the 'showproduct.php' script using the 'cat' or 'page' parameters or the 'reportproduct.php' script using the 'report' parameter, which would be executed in the victim's Web browser within the security context of the hosting site, once the link is clicked. An attacker could use this vulnerability to steal the victim's cookie-based authentication credentials.

Remedy:

Upgrade to the latest version of ReviewPost PHP Pro (2.84 or later), available from the ReviewPost PHP Web site. See References.
