Description:
HtmlHeadLine.sh creates temporary files insecurely. A local attacker could use this vulnerability to create symbolic links from a temporary file to overwrite arbitrary files on the system with user privileges.

Remedy:
For Debian GNU/Linux 3.0 (woody):
Upgrade to the latest package of htmlheadline (21.8-3 or later), as listed in Debian Security Advisory DSA-622-1. See References.
For other distributions:
Contact your vendor for upgrade or patch information.
