PHP Gift Registry SQL injection

Description:
PHP Gift Registry (phpgiftreg) is vulnerable to SQL injection. By sending a specially-crafted URL request to the index.php script containing SQL code in the messageid, shopper or shopfor parameter or to the item.php script containing SQL code in the itemid parameter, a remote attacker could obtain sensitive information and add, modify or delete data in the backend database.

Upgrade to the latest version of PHP Gift Registry (1.5.0 b1 or later), available from the PHP Gift Registry Web site. See References.
