Description:

Ethereal is vulnerable to a denial of service attack, caused by a vulnerability in the DLSw dissector. A remote attacker could cause the DLSw process to crash.

Remedy:

Upgrade to the latest version of Ethereal (0.10.9 or later), available from the Ethereal Download Web page. See References.
