Description:

GNU Mailman could allow a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information, caused by a vulnerability in the private rosters management. By viewing the error message associated with an email address request for a private mailing list, a remote attacker could determine if the email address has been accepted as a member of the private mailing list.

For Ubuntu Linux:
Upgrade to the latest mailman package (2.1.5-1ubuntu2.1or later), as listed in USN-59-1 January 10, 2005 for more information. See References.
