Description:

BIND (the Berkeley Internet Name Daemon) is vulnerable to a denial of service attack, caused by a buffer overflow in the in q_usedns array. A remote attacker could cause a denial of service.

Remedy:

Upgrade to the latest version of BIND (8.4.6 or later), available from the Internet Software Consortium (ISC) Web site. See References.
