Description:
vdr creates files insecurely. A remote attacker could use this vulnerability to overwrite arbitrary files on the system.

For Debian GNU/Linux 3.0 (woody):
Upgrade to the latest version of vdr (1.0.0-1woody2 or later), as listed in DSA-656-1. See References.
